There are two bands called Olive. Olive were a trip-hopgroup from the United Kingdomand Olive are doom metalband from the Syrian Arab Republic. There is also a french rocksinger, born 1955 & dead in 2006. Olive(UK) : Two of its members, producers Tim Kellett and Robin Taylor-Firth, had departed from their respective groups, Simply Red and Nightmares on Wax, prior to forming Olive with vocalist Ruth-Ann Boyle, who Kellett had met while recording her vocals for live manipulation at a Durutti Column concert. The group released their first single, "You're Not Alone" in 1996.
